Aquellos cuya comprensión pura (sāttvika) se mantiene en la escucha de las santas narraciones, y que tienen devoción tanto por Sus devotos como por el Señor Viṣṇu, son en verdad los más eminentes entre los Bhāgavatas.
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It defines the “bhāgavatottama” as one whose mind becomes sāttvika through hearing sacred discourse and whose devotion includes both Lord Viṣṇu and reverence for His devotees.
It highlights bhakti as practiced through śravaṇa (devotional hearing) and expressed as dual loyalty—direct worship of Viṣṇu and loving regard/service toward Viṣṇu’s bhaktas.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught here; the practical takeaway is the discipline of śravaṇa—regular listening to satkathā as a method to cultivate sāttvika mati (pure devotional intelligence).
