The Characteristics of Devotion to Hari
Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti (devotion)
Secondary Rasa: shanta (peace)
It states that liberation (reaching the ‘far shore’) is not attainable for those immersed in saṁsāra without taking refuge in and worshipping Vishnu (Jagannātha/Acyuta), the universal sustainer.
Bhakti is presented as the essential means: ‘ārādhana’ (devotional worship and propitiation) of Vishnu is the practical boat that carries the soul across worldly bondage.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is devotional discipline—regular ārādhana (worship) as the applied method within dharma leading toward moksha.
