Así pues, oh el mejor de los sabios, te ha sido expuesto el procedimiento supremo de este Śrāddha. Para quienes lo realizan de este modo, el pecado se disuelve de inmediato.
Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: Shraddha (pitṛ-kārya)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It seals the teaching by stating the phala (result): performing Śrāddha according to the prescribed vidhi brings immediate pāpa-kṣaya (dissolution of sin) and supports dharmic continuity through Pitṛ-tarpaṇa.
While the verse is primarily ritual-focused, it reflects bhakti through faithful adherence (śraddhā) to sacred injunctions—performing Śrāddha as taught becomes an act of reverence that purifies the practitioner.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is emphasized: correct performance of the Śrāddha-vidhi is presented as the practical means by which the intended purificatory result is attained.
