The Pañcarātra Vow (Haripañcaka Vrata): Observance from Śukla Ekādaśī to Pūrṇimā
Narada (teaching in a vrata/ritual instruction context, traditionally within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue frame)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It links outer discipline (āśrama-dharma and ritual purity) with inner devotion, teaching that worship of Hari becomes spiritually effective when preceded by orderly conduct and purification.
Bhakti here is expressed as vidhivat-pūjā—devotion performed with reverence, purity, and scriptural procedure—showing that loving worship of Viṣṇu is supported by regulated life and vrata observance.
It emphasizes Kalpa (ritual procedure) through “vidhivat” worship and āśrama-kriyā performance, reflecting applied dharma-śāstra style guidance on timing, purity, and correct rite.
