Dvādaśī-vrata: Month-by-month Viṣṇu Worship and the Year-End Udyāpana
Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: Dvadashi-vrata (Padmanabha-focused)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It emphasizes disciplined Viṣṇu-bhakti through Vedic-style worship—offering homa and simple, sattvic substances—while keeping the practice accessible by allowing it to be done according to one’s means.
Bhakti here is expressed as reverent salutation and orderly worship of Padmanābha, showing that devotion is strengthened through regular, rule-based pūjā and offerings made with sincerity rather than extravagance.
It reflects Kalpa (ritual procedure) through the stress on vidhāna (prescribed method) and proper homa/pūjā materials, indicating structured application of ritual science within devotion.
