Dvādaśī-vrata: Month-by-month Viṣṇu Worship and the Year-End Udyāpana

Vrata: Harer-vratāni (general; specific names not given in this verse)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It establishes a key doctrine: Viṣṇu is pleased through Hari’s vratas, and true devotion is the Lord’s gift; mokṣa is not independent but follows bhakti as its attendant result.
Bhakti is presented as both the practice (bhajana) and the grace bestowed by the compassionate Lord; when devotion arises, liberation naturally follows rather than being the primary aim.
The verse emphasizes vrata-dharma (ritual observance and discipline) rather than a specific Vedāṅga; practically, it points to correct performance of vows and worship as the applied framework for cultivating bhakti.
