इष्टेन लभते स्वर्गं मोक्षं पूर्त्तेन चान्पुयात् । वित्तक्षेपो भवेदिष्टं तडागं पूर्त्तमुच्यते ॥ ६५ ॥
iṣṭena labhate svargaṃ mokṣaṃ pūrttena cānpuyāt | vittakṣepo bhavediṣṭaṃ taḍāgaṃ pūrttamucyate || 65 ||
Por iṣṭa se alcanza el cielo; por pūrta también puede alcanzarse la liberación. El gasto de riqueza para el rito se llama iṣṭa, mientras que la construcción de un estanque (tadāga) es declarada pūrta.
