Narada (teaching in a Vedanga/astrology context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It frames Jyotiṣa as a dharmic tool: recognizing planetary influences through nimittas (omens) helps a person act with caution, choose auspicious timings, and avoid harm while pursuing righteous living.
Indirectly: by teaching discernment of adverse signs, it encourages devotees to respond with restraint, prayer, and corrective dharmic actions—supporting steadiness in Vishnu-bhakti rather than fear or superstition.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa (astrology/omenology): it lists nimitta-categories linked to specific grahas (planets), useful for interpreting events and planning ritual or worldly decisions.
