Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in a Vedanga/Jyotisha context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents Jyotiṣa as a Vedāṅga used to read karmic patterns: even the circumstances of birth (home, locality) are explained through planetary strength and aspect, reinforcing the Purāṇic view that embodied life unfolds by ordered causality (dharma and karma).
While the verse is technical (Jyotiṣa), its implied teaching supports Bhakti and Mokṣa-dharma by showing that worldly conditions—including birthplace—are results of prior causes; devotion to Viṣṇu and right conduct are encouraged as the higher remedy beyond mere prediction.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa: interpreting the place of birth through the strength of the 4th-house lord and through the ascendant–Moon condition (debilitation, benefic placement, and multiple planetary aspects).
