मानांतरद्रुद्भूमिः स्यादथोभूनराहतिः । प्रभाप्ता जायते दीपशिखौच्च्यं स्यात्त्रिराशिकात् ॥ ५९ ॥

mānāṃtaradrudbhūmiḥ syādathobhūnarāhatiḥ | prabhāptā jāyate dīpaśikhauccyaṃ syāttrirāśikāt || 59 ||

Al convertir una unidad de medida en otra, se determina el área correspondiente; del mismo modo se obtiene la cantidad resultante. A partir de la iluminación alcanzada, la altura de la llama de una lámpara se halla por la regla de tres (proporción).
