पंचरास्यादिकेऽन्योन्यपक्षं कृत्वा फलच्छिदाम् । बहुराशिवधं भक्ते फलं स्वल्पवधेन च ॥ ३८ ॥

Transliteration

paṃcarāsyādike'nyonyapakṣaṃ kṛtvā phalacchidām | bahurāśivadhaṃ bhakte phalaṃ svalpavadhena ca || 38 ||

Translation

En sistemas como la doctrina de los cinco signos zodiacales, al disponer “lados” (clasificaciones) mutuamente opuestos para cortar los resultados indeseados, puede neutralizarse el fruto de muchas combinaciones adversas mediante la cancelación de sólo unas pocas.
