भानौ क्षयधने कृत्वा मध्यलग्नं तदा भवेत् । भोग्यासूनूनकस्याथ भुक्तासूनधिकस्य च ॥ १५२ ॥
bhānau kṣayadhane kṛtvā madhyalagnaṃ tadā bhavet | bhogyāsūnūnakasyātha bhuktāsūnadhikasya ca || 152 ||
Cuando el Sol (Bhānu) se halla en el signo de ‘kṣaya’ (decreciente), entonces debe determinarse el ‘madhya-lagna’ (ascendente del medio cielo). Esta regla vale tanto cuando los prāṇas restantes (por experimentar) son menos, como cuando los prāṇas ya consumidos son mayores.
