Vyākaraṇa-saṅgraha: Pada–Vibhakti–Kāraka–Lakāra–Samāsa
साधु वासिश्छिनत्त्येवं स्थाली पचति वै मुने । धातोः सकर्मकाद्भावे कर्मण्यपि लप्रत्ययाः ॥ ८४ ॥
sādhu vāsiśchinattyevaṃ sthālī pacati vai mune | dhātoḥ sakarmakādbhāve karmaṇyapi lapratyayāḥ || 84 ||
“¡Bien dicho!” Así, oh sabio: ‘el azuela corta’ y ‘la olla cocina’. Aunque la raíz verbal sea transitiva (sakarmaka), el afijo kṛt ‘la’ puede aplicarse en el sentido de la acción (bhāva) y también en el sentido del objeto (karma).
