न चापि धर्ममिच्छामि विलोप्तुं ते कथंचन । एवं तु मे यथाकामं सम्पादयितुमहसि,साथ ही मेरी यह भी इच्छा नहीं है कि किसी प्रकार आपके धर्मका लोप हो। इस प्रकार अपने तप एवं धर्मकी रक्षा करते हुए जिस तरह सम्भव हो उसी तरह आप मेरी इच्छा पूर्ण करें
na cāpi dharmam icchāmi viloptuṃ te kathaṃcana | evaṃ tu me yathākāmaṃ sampādayitum arhasi ||
Agastya dijo: «Tampoco deseo, de modo alguno, provocar la pérdida de tu dharma. Por ello, salvaguardando tu austeridad y tu deber recto, cumple mi petición en la medida de lo posible.»
