vibho! tatra āditya-vasu-rudra-sādhya-marudgaṇa-gandharvāpsarāṇām api nityaṃ sannidhir bhavati. yatra devās tapaḥ taptvā daityā brahmarṣayas tathā; divya-yogā mahārāja puṇyena mahatānvitāḥ.
¡Oh poderoso!
घुलस्त्य उवाच
Spiritual power and divine realization arise from tapas (disciplined austerity) and puṇya (ethical merit). The verse underscores that even opposing groups—devas and daityas—can attain divine yoga through sustained ascetic practice, highlighting effort and purity over mere identity.
The speaker describes a sacred locale characterized by the constant presence of many celestial classes. He explains that this is a place where gods, daityas, and great seers perform austerities and thereby become endowed with great merit and attain divine yogic excellence.
