शिवोद्धेदे नर: स्नात्वा गोसहस्रफलं लभेत् । नागोद्धेदे नर: स्नात्वा नागलोकमवाप्नुयात्,शिवोद्धेदमें स्नान करके मनुष्य सहख्र गोदानका फल पाता है। नागोद्धेदतीर्थमें स्नान करनेसे उसे नागलोककी प्राप्ति होती है
