दमयन्ती-शपथः वायोः साक्ष्यं च
Damayantī’s Oath and Vāyu’s Testimony
यच्चान्यदपि पश्येथास्तच्चाख्येयं त्वया मम । “बाहुकके इन सब चरित्रोंकी समीक्षा करके फिर मुझे सब बात बताना। बाहुकमें यदि तुम्हें कोई दिव्य अथवा मानवोचित विशेषता दिखायी दे तथा और भी जो कोई विशेषता दृष्टिगोचर हो तो उसपर भी दृष्टि रखना और मुझे आकर बताना'
yaccānyad api paśyethās taccākhyeyaṃ tvayā mama |
Dijo Bṛhadaśva: «Y cuanto más observes, eso también debes comunicármelo. Tras examinar con cuidado todos los hechos y rasgos de Bāhuka, ven y cuéntamelo todo. Si en Bāhuka adviertes alguna cualidad extraordinaria—sea divina o propia de un hombre—y cualquier otra señal distintiva, tenla presente y repórtamela».
