Heartfelt devotion (bhāva-bhakti) is presented as a force of inner purification: it removes pāpa (moral taint) and supports health, happiness, and longevity, implying that ethical transformation and well-being are linked.
Yudhiṣṭhira addresses a revered 'you' (the addressee in context) and praises the fruits of devotion toward that figure, describing the devotees’ resulting purity, freedom from affliction, and sustained happiness.
