सप्तम्यामथवा षष्ठ्यां भक््त्या पूजां करोति यः । अनिर्विण्णो5नहंकारी त॑ लक्ष्मीर्भजते नरम्,जो सप्तमी अथवा षष्ठीको खेद और अहंकारसे रहित हो भक्तिभावसे आपकी पूजा करता है, उस मनुष्यको लक्ष्मी प्राप्त होती है
saptamyām athavā ṣaṣṭhyāṁ bhaktyā pūjāṁ karoti yaḥ | anirviṇṇo 'nahaṅkārī taṁ lakṣmīr bhajate naram ||
Yudhiṣṭhira dijo: «Ya sea en el séptimo día o en el sexto, quien realiza el culto con devoción—sin abatimiento y sin ego—es favorecido por Lakṣmī (prosperidad)».
