इदमम्भ: कुबेरस्ते महाराज: प्रयच्छति । अन्तर्तहितानां भूतानां दर्शनार्थ परंतप,/ | | 0 ४ 'परंतप! महाराज कुबेर आपको यह जल इस उद्देश्यसे समर्पित कर रहे हैं कि आप इसे नेत्रोंमें लगाकर मायासे अदृश्य हुए प्राणियोंको देख सकें
idam ambhaḥ kuberas te mahārājaḥ prayacchati | antartahitānāṃ bhūtānāṃ darśanārthaṃ parantapa ||
Dijo Mārkaṇḍeya: «Oh Parantapa, el rey Kubera te concede esta agua. Su propósito es permitirte ver a los seres que han sido ocultados: al aplicarla en tus ojos, podrás percibir a quienes la ilusión ha vuelto invisibles.»
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
Right action depends on right perception: when beings are hidden by māyā, divine or disciplined means may be required to see truth clearly, so that one can act responsibly and in accordance with dharma.
Mārkaṇḍeya reports that Kubera has bestowed a special water upon the addressed hero (called Parantapa). By applying it to the eyes, he will be able to see beings who have been rendered invisible or concealed.
