Chapter 220
हविषा यो द्वितीयेन सोमेन सह युज्यते । रथप्रभू रथध्वान: कुम्भरेता: स उच्यते,सोमदेवताके साथ इन्हींको द्वितीय आज्यभाग प्राप्त होता है। इन्हें “रथप्रभु', 'रथध्वान' और “कुम्भरेता' भी कहते हैं
haviṣā yo dvitīyena somena saha yujyate | rathaprabhū rathadhvānaḥ kumbharetāḥ sa ucyate ||
Dijo Mārkaṇḍeya: «Aquel que se une a Soma mediante la segunda oblación es conocido por los epítetos “Rathaprabhu” (Señor del Carro), “Rathadhvāna” (cuyo sonido es el retumbar de un carro) y “Kumbharetā” (cuyo semen está en una vasija)».
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse underscores ritual dharma: offerings in a sacrifice are to be properly apportioned, and specific divine recipients are honored through designated shares and epithets, reflecting an ordered sacred cosmos.
