स्कन्दोपाख्यानम् — उत्पातशान्तिः, स्वाहारूपविचारः, कौमारमङ्गलक्रियाः

ततस्तं ब्राह्मुणं ताभ्यां धर्मव्याधो न्यवेदयत्‌ । तौ स्वागतेन तं विप्रमर्चयामासतुस्तदा,तदनन्तर धर्मव्याधने अपने माता-पिताको उस कौशिक ब्राह्मणका परिचय दिया। तब उन दोनोंने भी स्वागतपूर्वक ब्राह्मणका पूजन किया

Transliteration

tatastaṃ brāhmaṇaṃ tābhyāṃ dharmavyādho nyavedayat | tau svāgatena taṃ vipram arcayāmāsatus tadā |

Translation

Entonces el carnicero justo presentó a aquel brāhmaṇa ante sus padres. Y ellos, ambos, lo recibieron con la hospitalidad debida y lo honraron con reverente adoración—mostrando que el verdadero dharma se manifiesta en la conducta respetuosa hacia el huésped y hacia los virtuosos, sin importar la condición social.
