उत्तङ्कोपाख्यानप्रारम्भः — Uttanka’s Tapas, Viṣṇu-stuti, and the Dhundhumāra Prophecy

मुहान्ति हि प्रजास्तात कालेनापि प्रचोदिता: । मा च तत्र विशड्काभूद् यन्मयोक्ते तवानघ,युधिष्ठिर! कालसे प्रेरित होकर ही यह सारी प्रजा मोहग्रस्त होती है। अनघ! मैंने तुम्हारे सामने जो कुछ भी कहा है, उसमें तुम्हें किसी प्रकारकी शंका नहीं होनी चाहिये
Vaiśampāyana uvāca |
Muhyanti hi prajāstāta kālenāpi pracoditāḥ |
Mā ca tatra viśaṅkābhūd yan mayokte tavānagha, Yudhiṣṭhira ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Amado mío, los pueblos en verdad se extravían cuando el propio Tiempo los impulsa. Por eso, oh Yudhiṣṭhira sin mancha, no albergues duda alguna sobre lo que te he dicho.»
