Adhyāya 160: Dikpāla-Cosmography and the Sun’s Kālacakra (दिक्पाल-विश्ववर्णनम् तथा आदित्यस्य कालचक्रम्)

न तात चपलैर्भाव्यमिह प्राप्त: कथंचन । उषित्वेह यथाकामं यथाश्रद्ध॑ विहृत्य च | ततः शस्त्रजितां तात पृथिवीं पालयिष्यसि,तात! यहाँ आनेवाले लोगोंको किसी प्रकार चपल नहीं होना चाहिये। तुम यहाँ अपनी इच्छाके अनुसार रहकर और श्रद्धाके अनुसार घूम-फिरकर लौट जाओगे और श्त्रोंद्वारा जीती हुई पृथ्वीका पालन करोगे

Transliteration

na tāta capalair bhāvyam iha prāptaḥ kathaṃcana | uṣitveha yathākāmaṃ yathāśraddhaṃ vihṛtya ca || tataḥ śastrajitāṃ tāta pṛthivīṃ pālayiṣyasi |

Translation

Hijo mío, una vez que has llegado aquí, no debes comportarte con inconstancia ni con prisa temeraria de ningún modo. Permanece aquí cuanto desees y recorre estos parajes conforme a tu fe y reverencia. Luego regresarás y gobernarás la tierra conquistada por las armas.
