Adhyāya 160: Dikpāla-Cosmography and the Sun’s Kālacakra (दिक्पाल-विश्ववर्णनम् तथा आदित्यस्य कालचक्रम्)
इहस्थैरेव तत् सर्व श्रोतव्यं भरतर्षभा: । न कार्या व: कथंचित् स्यात् तत्राभिगमने मति:,भरतकुलभूषण पाण्डवो! तुम्हें यहीं रहकर वह सब कुछ देखना या सुनना चाहिये। वहाँ पर्वतके ऊपर जानेका विचार तुम्हें किसी प्रकार भी नहीं करना चाहिये
ihasthair eva tat sarvaṃ śrotavyaṃ bharatarṣabhāḥ | na kāryā vaḥ kathaṃcit syāt tatrābhigamane matiḥ |
Dijo el vidente: “Oh el mejor de los Bharatas, permaneced aquí y aprendedlo todo—viendo y oyendo desde este mismo lugar. Bajo ninguna circunstancia dejéis que vuestra mente se incline a subir allí.” El consejo exalta la contención y la obediencia a la guía sabia: la curiosidad o el impulso no deben imponerse a la prudencia cuando el acercamiento es peligroso o vedado.
