Dharma is expressed through humility and proper conduct: when sincere honor is offered by worthy people (such as sages), a righteous person accepts it with a purified mind—neither with pride nor with suspicion—thus sustaining bonds of respect and goodwill.
In the forest setting of the Vana Parva, great seers offer Yudhiṣṭhira affectionate hospitality and honor. Yudhiṣṭhira, known as Dharmarāja, receives their satkāra with disciplined, pure-hearted gratitude, showing his adherence to righteous etiquette.
