Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) | किर्मीरेण सह भीमसेनसमागमः
वैशम्पायन उवाच अथ तामब्रवीत् कृष्णस्तस्मिन् वीरसमागमे । वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं-जनमेजय! यह सुनकर भगवान् श्रीकृष्णने वीरोंके उस समुदायमें द्रौपदीसे इस प्रकार कहा ।। १२७६ वासुदेव उवाच रोदिष्यन्ति स्त्रियो होवं येषां क्रुद्धासि भाविनि । बीभत्सुशरसंच्छन्नाञ्छोणितौघपरिप्लुतान्,श्रीकृष्ण बोले--भाविनि! तुम जिनपर क्कुद्ध हुई हो, उनकी स्त्रियाँ भी अपने प्राणप्यारे पतियोंको अर्जुनके बाणोंसे छिन्न-भिन्न और खूनसे लथपथ हो मरकर धरतीपर पड़ा देख इसी प्रकार रोयेंगी। पाण्डवोंके हितके लिये जो कुछ भी सम्भव है, वह सब करूँगा, शोक न करो
vaiśampāyana uvāca atha tām abravīt kṛṣṇas tasmin vīra-samāgame | vāsudeva uvāca rodiṣyanti striyo hova yeṣāṁ kruddhāsi bhāvini | bībhatsu-śara-saṁchannān śoṇitaugha-pariplutān |
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Entonces, en aquella asamblea de héroes, Kṛṣṇa se dirigió a ella. Vāsudeva dijo: «Oh dama noble, las esposas de aquellos contra quienes ahora ardes en ira llorarán como tú—cuando vean a sus amados maridos abatidos, cubiertos por las flechas de Arjuna y empapados en torrentes de sangre.
