Omens and Reception During Keśava’s Departure
अथापश्यन्महाबाहुर््बषीन ध्वनि केशव: । ब्राह्मयया श्रिया दीप्यमानान् स्थितानुभयत: पथि
athāpaśyan mahābāhur ṛṣīn dhvani keśavaḥ | brāhmyayā śriyā dīpyamānān sthitān ubhayataḥ pathi ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Entonces Keśava, el de poderosos brazos, vio a los sabios de pie a ambos lados del camino, resplandecientes con el esplendor brahmánico. Su presencia en la ruta actúa como testimonio moral y espiritual de la misión política en curso, recordando a los viajeros que el poder y la estrategia han de medirse frente al dharma y a la autoridad de la visión ascética.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even amid political negotiation and the approach of war, the narrative foregrounds brahmanical radiance and the presence of sages as a reminder that dharma and spiritual authority stand as witnesses and standards for worldly action.
As Kṛṣṇa proceeds along the road, he notices ṛṣis standing on both sides, shining with spiritual splendor—an auspicious, morally charged encounter that frames the journey within a dharmic atmosphere.
