Chapter 49: Sañjaya’s Enumeration of the Pāṇḍava Coalition (पाण्डवसैन्यसमागम-वर्णनम्)
जारासंधि: सहदेवो जयत्सेनश्व तावुभौ । युद्धे5प्रतिरथौ वीरौ पाण्डवार्थे व्यवस्थिती,जरासंधपुत्र सहदेव और जयत्सेन दोनों युद्धमें अपना सानी नहीं रखते हैं। वे दोनों मागध वीर पाण्डवोंकी सहायताके लिये आकर डटे हुए हैं
Jārāsandhiḥ Sahadevo Jayatsenaś ca tāv ubhau | yuddhe ’pratirathau vīrau Pāṇḍavārthe vyavasthitau ||
Sañjaya dijo: «Los hijos de Jārāsandha, Sahadeva y Jayatsena—ambos—son héroes sin igual en el campo de batalla. Han tomado su puesto por la causa de los Pāṇḍava, firmemente resueltos a sostenerlos.»
