तथा चेदिपतेभ्राता शरभो भरतर्षभ | करकर्षेण सहितस्ताभ्यां वस्ते5भ्ययुज्जत,भरतश्रेष्ठ! चेदिराजके भाई शरभ (अपने अनुज) करकर्षके साथ पाण्डवोंकी सहायताके लिये आये हैं। उन दोनोंको साथ लेकर उन्होंने आपसे युद्ध करनेका उद्योग किया है

Transliteration

tathā cedipate bhrātā śarabho bharatarṣabha | karakarṣeṇa sahitas tābhyāṃ vaste 'bhyayujjata ||

Translation

Sañjaya dijo: «Oh toro entre los Bharata, el hermano del señor de Cedi—Śarabha—ha llegado, acompañado de Karakarṣa. Unido a esos aliados, se ha entregado a la empresa de combatir contra ti, alineando su fuerza en apoyo de los Pāṇḍava.»
