शान्तिरेवं भवेद्‌ राजनू्‌ प्रीतिश्वैव परस्परम्‌ | राज्यैकदेशमपि न: प्रयच्छ शममिच्छताम्‌

Transliteration

śāntir evaṁ bhaved rājan prītiś caiva parasparam | rājyaikadeśam api naḥ prayaccha śamam icchatām ||

Translation

Dijo Yudhiṣṭhira: «Oh Rey, de este modo puede asegurarse la paz y conservarse la buena voluntad mutua entre nosotros. Buscamos la reconciliación; por ello, concédenos aunque sea una sola porción del reino, para que prevalezca la concordia».
