अतः: पर प्रवक्ष्यामि यानि देयानि भारते । वाच्यमाने तु विप्रेभ्यो राजन्‌ पर्वणि पर्वणि

Transliteration

ataḥ paraṁ pravakṣyāmi yāni deyāni bhārate | vācyamāne tu viprebhyo rājan parvaṇi parvaṇi ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Ahora, además, describiré qué dones deben darse en el Bharata (Mahābhārata). Oh rey, mientras el relato se recita para los brahmanes, en cada parvan, uno debe ofrecer las donaciones apropiadas».
