अध्याय २९४ — योगलक्षणम् तथा सांख्यपरिसंख्यानम्
Yoga Definition and Sāṃkhya Enumeration
तेषामधिपतिस्त्वासीदू भीमो भीमपराक्रम: । देवतानां भयकर: स हत: शूलपाणिना
teṣām adhipatis tv āsīd ū bhīmo bhīmaparākramaḥ | devatānāṁ bhayakaraḥ sa hataḥ śūlapāṇinā ||
«Entre aquellos asuras, su soberano era un ser terrible, de fuerza pavorosa y valor temible. Mantenía a los dioses en constante miedo; pero fue abatido por Śūlapāṇi (el Señor que porta el tridente).» El pasaje subraya que el poder opresivo que aterroriza a otros acaba siendo contenido por un orden divino superior, reafirmando el equilibrio moral y la protección del dharma.
