Yoga Definition and Sāṃkhya Enumeration
स्वल्पाप्यर्था: प्रशस्यन्ते धर्मस्यार्थे महाफला: । पराशरजी कहते हैं--राजन! ब्राह्मणके यहाँ प्रतिग्रहसे मिला हुआ
svalpāpy arthāḥ praśasyante dharmasyārthe mahāphalāḥ | tena sam te gaganagāḥ sapurāḥ pātitāḥ kṣitau | tridhāpy ekena bāṇena devāppāyita-tejasā ||
Dijo Parāśara: «Aun una pequeña riqueza es digna de alabanza cuando se obtiene conforme al deber propio; y cuando tal riqueza se emplea para los fines del dharma, produce gran fruto. Por ese mismo principio, aquellos seres que se movían por el cielo junto con sus ciudades fueron abatidos y hechos caer a la tierra: tres ciudades fueron derribadas por una sola flecha, investida del esplendor acrecentado por los dioses».
