Dāna ethics, lawful wealth, and settling obligations
After an intended act is accepted and completed (“tathā iti”), beings return to their rightful domains; the verse hints at restoration of order—each returning to their proper place—once a purpose is fulfilled.
Bhīṣma narrates that the Apsarases, pleased and consenting, say “so be it,” then go back to their own celestial abodes and enjoy themselves there, marking the close of their involvement in the episode.
