Saptasārasvata-tīrtha-prasaṅgaḥ | The Saptasārasvata Pilgrimage Account and the Maṅkaṇaka Narrative
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ा भारत शल्यपववके अन्तर्गत गदापबव॑नें बलदेवजीकी तीरथ्थयात्राके प्रसंगमें त्रितका उपाख्यानविषयक छत्तीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
kṛḍābhir vimalābhir yakṣāḥ krīḍanti vimalānanāḥ |
abhivādya munīṁs tān vai tatra tīrthanivāsinaḥ |
uddiṣṭamārgaḥ prayayau yatra bhūyaḥ sarasvatī ||
Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: En aquel vado sagrado, seres celestiales de rostro radiante se deleitan sin cesar en múltiples juegos puros y gráciles, tras haber arrojado toda languidez. Luego, habiendo saludado debidamente a los sabios que moran en ese tīrtha, prosiguió por la ruta indicada hacia el lugar donde vuelve a encontrarse el Sarasvatī. El pasaje subraya el poder santificador de la peregrinación: la reverencia a los ascetas y el avance disciplinado por un camino prescrito son el marco ético para gozar de la belleza sagrada sin caer en la negligencia.
