रुधिरौघपरिक्लिन्न: प्रविश्य विपुलं तम: | आपके पुत्रद्वारा ताड़ित होकर चेकितान अत्यन्त मूर्च्छित हो रथकी बैठकमें गिर पड़ा। उस समय उसका सारा शरीर खूनसे लथपथ हो गया था
rudhiraughapariklinnaḥ praviśya vipulaṃ tamaḥ |
Sañjaya dijo: «Golpeado por tu hijo, Cekitāna quedó profundamente aturdido y perdió el sentido, desplomándose en el asiento de su carro. Entonces todo su cuerpo estaba empapado por un torrente de sangre, como si se hundiera en una vasta oscuridad: marca de la brutal inmediatez de la guerra y del costo trágico cuando la destreza marcial se trueca en pura destrucción.»
