Rājasūyābhiṣeka-darśana: Duryodhana’s Observation of the Consecration
so 'bhigamya mahātmānaṃ bhrātā bhrātaram agrajam | mūrdhnā praṇamya caraṇāv idaṃ vacanam abravīt ||
The verse models dharmic conduct in counsel: even when one must speak difficult truths, one should approach with humility and respect, especially toward elders and rulers, so that ethical advice is grounded in duty rather than pride.
Vidura goes to his elder brother Dhṛtarāṣṭra, bows at his feet, and begins to speak—setting the stage for a serious advisory speech within the political and moral tensions of the Kuru court.
