Educational Q&A

Even in a dharma-guided cause, war entails unavoidable suffering; the presence of Kṛṣṇa as guide does not remove the harsh consequences of battle, but frames endurance, restraint, and steadfastness as ethical demands amid violence.

Sañjaya reports that the opposing archer showers Kṛṣṇa with sixty arrows, wounding him, and then immediately shoots Arjuna with eight arrows—depicting an intense exchange where both charioteer and warrior are targeted.
