षष्ट्या बिभेदाशु च वासुदेव- मनन्तरं फाल्गुमष्टभि श्व । फिर तेलके धोये और पक्षियोंके पंख लगाये गये
ṣaṣṭyā bibhedāśu ca vāsudevam | anantaraṃ phālgunaṃ aṣṭabhiḥ śaraiḥ ||
Dijo Sañjaya: Con sesenta flechas lo atravesó con presteza, hiriendo gravemente a Kṛṣṇa, hijo de Vāsudeva; y después golpeó a Phālguna (Arjuna) con ocho saetas más.
