भीमस्य वाहाग्रयमुदारवेगं समनन्ततो बाणगणैर्निजषघ्नु: । तत: शरानापततो महात्मा चिच्छेद बाणैस्तपनीयपुड्खै:
bhīmasya vāhāgrayam udāravegaṃ samanantato bāṇagaṇair nijaṣaghnur | tataḥ śarān āpatato mahātmā ciccheda bāṇais tapanīya-puṅkhaiḥ ||
Sañjaya dijo: Atacaron la montura principal de Bhīma—su carro y su tiro, veloz y poderoso—desde todos los lados con andanadas de flechas. Entonces el magnánimo Bhīmasena, cuando aquellos dardos se precipitaban sobre él, los cercenó con sus propias flechas de plumas doradas.
