ते वै निपेतुस्तपनीयपुड्खा द्विधा त्रिधा भीमशरैर्निकृत्ता: । ततो राजन् नागरथाश्चयूनां भीमाहतानां वरराजमध्ये
te vai nipetustapanīyapuḍkhā dvidhā tridhā bhīmaśarair nikṛttāḥ | tato rājan nāgarathāś ca yūnāṃ bhīmahātānāṃ vararājamadhye ||
Sañjaya dijo: Aquellas flechas de plumas doradas cayeron al suelo, cortadas en dos y en tres por los dardos de Bhīma. Luego, oh Rey, en medio mismo de los más ilustres monarcas, también se desplomaron los carros y los guerreros abatidos por Bhīma, vencidos por su ímpetu.
