श्रेण्यश्व॒ बहुला: क्षीणा: प्रदीर्णाश्वरथद्विपा: । नानाजनपदाश्षोग्रा: क्षत्रियाणाममर्षिणाम्
śreṇyaśvā bahulāḥ kṣīṇāḥ pradīrṇāśvarathadvipāḥ | nānājanapadāś cogrāḥ kṣatriyāṇām amarṣiṇām ||
Sañjaya dijo: «Muchas formaciones de batalla de los airados kṣatriyas—guerreros feroces venidos de diversas regiones—quedaron por completo desgastadas y aniquiladas. Sus caballos, carros y elefantes también fueron destrozados y reducidos a ruina, tragados por el polvo del campo de batalla.»
