Arjuna’s targeted advance; Śalya–Karṇa dialogue; interception attempts

The verse highlights the ethical weight of war: even amid urgency, action is guided through clear perception and counsel. Arjuna’s insistence and Kṛṣṇa’s guiding role underscore disciplined leadership—moving forward while keeping the moral reality of the battlefield fully in view.
Arjuna repeatedly tells Kṛṣṇa to proceed. Kṛṣṇa advances quickly, showing Arjuna the battlefield—directing his attention to the assembled forces and the immediate situation before engagement.
