Arjuna’s targeted advance; Śalya–Karṇa dialogue; interception attempts
एवं ब्रुवंस्तदा कृष्णो ययौ यत्र युधिष्ठिर: । अर्जुनश्नापि नृपतेर्दर्शनार्थ महारणे
evaṁ bruvaṁs tadā kṛṣṇo yayau yatra yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | arjunaś cāpi nṛpater darśanārthaṁ mahāraṇe ||
Sañjaya dijo: Mientras hablaba así, Kṛṣṇa se dirigió al lugar donde estaba Yudhiṣṭhira. Arjuna también, en aquella gran batalla, fue para ver al rey, avanzando hacia el punto donde Yudhiṣṭhira se hallaba apostado. El verso subraya la acción deliberada en medio de la guerra: aun en el tumulto del combate, los líderes buscan consejo, sosiego y recta alineación con el dharma mediante el encuentro directo.
