कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
निपातात्तव शस्त्राणां शरीरे याभवद् रुजा | तया ते मानुषं कर्म व्यपोर्द भूगुनन्दन
nipātāt tava śastrāṇāṃ śarīre yābhavad rujā | tayā te mānuṣaṃ karma vyapod bhṛgunandana, gṛhāṇāstrāṇi divyāni matsakāśād yathepsitam ||
Dijo Maheśvara: “Oh descendiente de Bhṛgu, la herida que surgió en tu cuerpo por el golpe de las armas de los Daityas, por su propio efecto, ha borrado para ti las limitaciones de la acción meramente humana—de modo que has llegado a ser comparable a los dioses. Por ello, recibe de mí, según tu deseo, los astra y las armas divinas.”
