कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
ततो नारायणस्तस्माच्छर भागाद् विनि:सृतः । वृषरूपं समास्थाय उज्जहार महारथम्,तब भगवान् नारायणने उस बाणके एक भागसे बाहर निकलकर वृषभका रूप धारण करके भगवान् शिवके विशाल रथको ऊपर उठाया
tato nārāyaṇas tasmāc chara-bhāgād viniḥsṛtaḥ | vṛṣa-rūpaṃ samāsthāya ujjahāra mahā-ratham ||
Entonces Nārāyaṇa surgió de una porción de aquella flecha. Tomando la forma de un toro, alzó el gran carro—la vasta cuadriga de Śiva—y así reveló el poder divino que ampara a los justos y humilla la soberbia, aun en medio de la violencia de la guerra.
पितामह उवाच
Divine power operates to uphold dharma: even in the midst of conflict, the supreme protector can manifest in unexpected ways, restraining arrogance and safeguarding cosmic order.
Bhīṣma (Pitāmaha) describes a miraculous event: Nārāyaṇa emerges from a portion of an arrow, takes the form of a bull, and lifts a mighty chariot—understood in the received context as Śiva’s great chariot—signaling divine intervention and supremacy.
