अभिमन्यु–अलम्बुसयुद्धम् / The Duel of Abhimanyu and Alambusa
with Arjuna’s approach to Bhīṣma
घटोत्कचोभिसंक्रुद्धों ज्ञातिभि: परिवारित: । अभिद॒द्राव वेगेन द्रौणिमाहवशोभिनम्
ghaṭotkaco 'bhisaṁkruddho jñātibhiḥ parivāritaḥ | abhidadrāva vegena drauṇim āhavaśobhinam ||
Dijo Sañjaya: Ghaṭotkaca, enfurecido y rodeado por sus propios parientes, se lanzó con gran velocidad contra Drauṇi (Aśvatthāman), que hacía resplandecer el campo de batalla. El instante muestra cómo, bajo la tensión moral de la guerra, el parentesco y la lealtad avivan la determinación y empujan a los guerreros a enfrentar a adversarios formidables en defensa de los suyos.
