धृष्टद्युम्नो5पि समरे धर्मराजानम भ्ययात् । ततः प्रववृते युद्ध तुमुलं लोमहर्षणम्
sañjaya uvāca | dhṛṣṭadyumno 'pi samare dharmarājānam abhyayāt | tataḥ pravavṛte yuddhaṃ tumulaṃ lomaharṣaṇam |
Dijo Sañjaya: Incluso Dhṛṣṭadyumna, en medio del combate, avanzó hacia Dharmarāja (Yudhiṣṭhira). Entonces estalló una lucha tumultuosa, que erizaba el vello—terrible por su fuerza—señal de la furia creciente de la guerra y del grave peso moral que cargan quienes combaten bajo el estandarte del dharma.
