संरब्धयोर्महाराज समरे चित्रयोधिनो: । यथा देवासुरे युद्धे बलिवासवयोरभूत्
saṃrabdhayor mahārāja samare citrayodhinoḥ | yathā devāsure yuddhe balivāsavayor abhūt, paraṃtapa |
Sañjaya dijo: Oh gran rey, en aquella batalla, cuando aquellos dos guerreros extraordinarios luchaban con ira encendida, el choque se volvió sumamente temible para Bhīṣma—como el célebre duelo entre el rey Bali e Indra (Vāsava) en la guerra de dioses y demonios.
