सत्येन सूर्यस्तपति सत्येनाग्नि: प्रदीप्यते । सत्येन मरुतो वान्ति सर्व सत्ये प्रतिेष्ठितम्
satyena sūryas tapati satyenāgniḥ pradīpyate | satyena maruto vānti sarvaṃ satye pratiṣṭhitam ||
Bhīṣma dijo: Por la verdad el sol da calor; por la verdad el fuego arde con fulgor. Por la verdad soplan los vientos. En verdad, todo está establecido sobre la verdad.
